Update on the 5th edition of the PMBOK & other Credential Revisions by PMI
At this year’s Registered Education Provider’s (REP) breakfast held at the Global Congress in Vancouver, Canada on October 20, 2012, I had the opportunity to network with other REPs as well as to learn about the latest news from PMI relevant to our profession. We learned about the following updates to their credentials and I thought I’d share them with you:

Also – the 5th edition of the PMBOK, the 3rd edition of the Program Management Standard, and the 3rd edition of the Standard for Portfolio Management will all be available for purchase (pdf downloads are free if you’re a member) on December 31, 2012.
There are approximately 20% MORE Inputs/Tools & Techniques/Outputs in the 5th edition! There are also four additional processes and one new Knowledge Area!
