Department Marketing Statement
The global Finance Function acts as a proactive business partner, advising and making
recommendations based upon financial projections and historical performance. Finance
also provides financial expertise companywide and ensures accurate and efficient
transaction processing.
Responsibilities
Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group):
- Manages large, high visibility projects for Corporate Shared Services in support of
Functional project portfolio.
- Projects include cost reductions, process improvements, PeopleSoft or SAP
deployments, Shared Service integrations, Finance system upgrades, business process
design and new functional process/technology introductions.
- May need to manage multiple smaller scope projects depending on project portfolio
and business needs
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Create project charters, project plans, resource plans, cost estimates
- Manage project resources to achieve project deliverables
- Provide project status to Sponsor and PMO
- Escalate issues to proper level to reach resolution
- Document and track activities, scope changes and lessons learned
- Assess project status and adjust project plan to ensure timeline, budget and
deliverables are met.
Travel Requirements (please note if international):
25-75% international travel possible depending on project(s) assigned
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Normally 40 hrs/wk. Extended work
days/weekends required occasionally depending on project phase and status.

Qualifications
Required Education(minimum required for consideration) : Bachelors Degree
Required Years and Area of Experience(minimum required for consideration) : 3 years
experience in Project management; 3 years experience in Finance or Shared Services
Required Skills:(These are skills that candidates MUST possess)
1. Demonstrate Project management skills
2. Process Improvement Experience
3. Functional business experience (Finance, Procurement, HR, etc)
Desired Skills((These are skills that would be nice for candidates to possess)
1. Understanding of Shared Services Operations
2. Understanding of Corporate Functional processes (Finance, HR, Procurement, etc)
3. Functional understanding of PeopleSoft and/or SAP systems
4. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
5. Green Belt certification
6. Problem Solving and Analytical skills

1. Excellent written and oral presentation skills needed to brief high level management
2. Leadership skills to engage business leadership and leverage talent in a matrix organization
